Fiona is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker and a registered Medicare Provider with over 20 years of experience in mental health. She specialises in working with both adults and young people, offering evidence-based therapy and some clients may wish to access a GP Mental Health Care Plan.

As a trained Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapist and an Accredited EMDRAA Consultant, Fiona uses trauma-informed techniques to help clients heal from the effects of trauma. She integrates relational and attachment-focused frameworks to strengthen communication, enhance relationships, and promote emotional regulation, especially for those struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, mood disorders, and interpersonal challenges. Fiona has also become an EMDR Institute Facilitator for Basic Training, Group Case Consultation, and individual supervision.

With a background in both public and private mental health settings, Fiona has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. She holds a Bachelor of Social Work, a Bachelor of Applied Science (Psychology), and a Post Graduate Certificate in Developmental Psychiatry, focusing on child and adolescent assessment.

​

Fiona is also trained in a range of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive BehaviouralTherapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, Schema Therapy, Structural Dissociation, Mindfulness, and Skills Training.  She is passionate about empowering her clients and their families ensuring they feel heard, understood and empowered to have a more balanced life.
